What happens if my internet disconnects or I close the browser during WPS removal?

The WDRT Desktop Agent executes the entire removal workflow autonomously on your local machine. Even if your internet drops or the browser tab closes, the Agent safely finishes removal, writes the audit report locally to %LocalAppData%\SmartToolKit\WDRT\Reports, and only syncs it to your account later if you explicitly consent.

Why does WPS Office keep reinstalling itself after normal uninstallation?

WPS Office often leaves behind scheduled tasks (WpsUpdateTask, WpsExternal_*), background services (wpscloudsvr), residual AppData updaters, or bundled partner installers in Downloads/Temp. WDRT's Reinstallation Source Detection module identifies and neutralizes all of these persistence mechanisms.

Does the Windows Agent allow arbitrary remote command execution from the browser?

No. The Agent binds strictly to 127.0.0.1, enforces Origin and Host header allowlists to block CSRF and DNS rebinding, requires a local 6-digit PIN handshake, and only executes predefined, allowlisted WPS detection and cleanup routines.
